The SC RED 'HOT POTATO' is on the road again.
Chapters are encouraged to get rid of it as quickly as possible. The RED 'Hot Potato' may be delivered to any organized chapter event. It is intended to encourage visitation and participation with other chapters within the District of South Carolina.

The Log Sheet to verify the mileage MUST be completed by the delivering chapter and presented with the RED 'Hot Potato'. Mileage will be the number of riders & co-riders times the number of miles from the delivering Chapter's meeting place to the Chapter event location you are delivering the RED 'Hot Potato' to.

The delivering Chapter Director must notify the District Director immediately by email to CharlesLColeman@gmail.com when the RED 'Hot Potato' has changed chapters.

A minimum of Three (3) Chapter participants are required to deliver the RED 'Hot Potato'.

It can not be delivered to either of the last two Chapters that had it.

Motorcycles should be ridden from April 1 through October 31.
(You may use other means of transportation if you are physically unable to ride a motorcycle.)
A drawing will be held at the next yearly SC District Officer's Meeting from all the Chapters that received the RED 'Hot Potato' during the year (one entry for each possession). The winning Chapter will have permanent custody of the RED 'Hot Potato' and receive $100.00. All Chapters that get rid of the Hot Potato within 7 days will be placed in another drawing with the winner receiving $50.00. The Chapter that travels the most miles in a single trip to get rid of the RED 'Hot Potato' will receive $50.00.

If the RED 'Hot Potato' has not moved in 21 days after a Chapter receives it, it will become fair game for any Chapter to pick it up. This can be done by as few as one Chapter participant at any Chapter function. Mileage to pickup and deliver both count. The Chapter that picks it up will get an extra entry in the drawing at the SC District Meeting.
